The weekend of October 21st and 22nd is all set to deliver unforgettable thrills at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli as it gears up to host the exciting Italian Speed Festival. This event offers a variety of spectacles that will captivate the attention of motorsport enthusiasts and beyond.
One of the main attractions will be the Alfa Revival Cup championship finale, promising thrilling races and an electrifying atmosphere. Additionally, the Track Days of the Cavallino Classic Cup provide the opportunity to witness some of the most iconic cars in the history of motorsport in action.
However, the Italian Speed Festival is more than just an event for motor enthusiasts; it's an experience for everyone. Whether you're a track racer, a motorsport enthusiast, or simply a spectator in the paddock, there's something special for each of you.
If you're eager to experience the thrill of driving your own car on the track, whether it's a sports car, a roadster, or a collector's piece, you'll have the chance to do so over the two days. There will be 25-minute driving sessions, and you can reserve your slot to participate.
For those seeking an even more intense experience, there will be "Hot Laps" aboard the Dallara Stradale. You'll have the opportunity to book a two-lap ride on the track with a professional driver at the helm, experiencing the sensations of a high-performance vehicle born from the minds behind Indy Car and Formula 1 race cars.
The paddock will be open to the public, allowing everyone to get up close to the world of motorsport as it used to be, when teams used motorhomes as trailers and hospitality was more like a simple picnic. In this unique atmosphere, drivers and enthusiasts can interact closely and admire the race cars up close.
A special moment will be the Concorso d'Eleganza, where the competition Ferrari race cars of the Cavallino Classic Cup participants will be on display. The public can vote for their favorite in a fun way, and a lucky winner will get a two-lap ride aboard the Dallara Stradale.
The paddock will also host a 2023 Exhibition of Elegance, with two dedicated areas for classic and collector cars. In the first area, Italian brand cars will be showcased, including some historically significant pieces, while the second area will feature foreign brand cars.
To conclude the event in style, these cars will take part in a parade lap on the track as a symbolic farewell to the 2024 edition.
And for those who appreciate good food, don't miss the street food in the paddock on Saturday and Sunday, featuring a carefully selected array of classic dishes from the Romagna Riviera. It's a delightful way to complete two unforgettable days.
